Some managment tips

Project (Time) management:

  • Measure work by output not input.
  • Define goals job/project specific with point of responsibility and the related tasks.
  • Track progress of such goals.
  • Report progress in the form of brief periodic reports.
  • High quality performance objectives
  • Maintain a list of project - with break down to bite size if needed.
  • Progress to the next step - not the final goal.
  • Prioritize to-do's effectively
  • Schedule the day realistically.


Three reasons to have meetings are
  • Group Bonding.
  • Reaching a group based decision
  • Conducting negotiations (peer to peer).
Emails and Letters are better for uni-directional information flow and essential for keeping records.
